The Standing Calf is a fundamental part of the strength training progression.
Height positions accommodate all users, and contoured non-slip foot plates allow users’ ankles to move in a full range-of-motion.
The standing calf raise targets the calf muscle, specifically the gastrocnemius.
Movements that are done with a bent knee (flexion) target the solues (which attaches below the knee joint).
